Description
Why All The Angst?
There has been much angst among Christians over what transpired in the last election, and this concern or frustration is understandable.
Perhaps some of the angst has subsided, or we have temporarily buried it, waiting for the next opportunity, waiting for the next election, thinking that our only recourse is to vote—that is the American way after all. We make changes by voting. But voting or the American political process is not the only solution.
There is hope in the Kingdom of God. Jesus Christ sits on his throne and has made the earth his footstool. Through Christ we can make a change in the U.S. for people who are desperate to taste God’s goodness and experience His Kingdom.
We all have hopes, dreams and aspirations. The years pass away, but those things never fully disappear. Maybe you’re not a romantic, like some people, but those things are still there, perhaps buried deep inside. By the power of God, we hope to dig them up, and give them life—within the Kingdom of God instead of the American Dream.
Your input is valuable. Let’s discuss our options. Let’s figure it out together and then encourage each other to get it done.
